How UHF RFID reader works
1) Master-slave working mode (COMMAND): In this working mode, the UHF reader works under the control of a PC or other controllers. The reader and controller can communicate through one of RS232, RS485 or Ethernet interface. This way of working supports all the functions provided by the secondary development kit.
2) Timing READ: The UHF reader automatically reads the card at a certain period (configurable), and the read data is output through the designated communication port. The operation of this method on UHF electronic tags is read-only.
3) Trigger working mode (TRIGGER READ): When a low level is input on the trigger input port, the UHF reader starts to read the card periodically, and automatically shuts down after a period of time.
In addition to the above three working methods, a function under these three working modes is:
ID adjacent discrimination
ID adjacency discrimination is designed to reduce the redundancy of data uploaded by RFID readers. When this function is selected, when the RFID reader reads the card number of the same label multiple times in succession, only one set of data will be uploaded within the set time. Adjacent discrimination can choose the effective time, that is, if the interval between two adjacent card readings exceeds the effective time, they will not be judged by their adjacent ratio. Users should choose according to specific needs. Commonly used in Wiegand communication.
